Woman on Trial for Using a Fake Penis to Trick Her Best Friend Into Sex

Woman tricks friend with fake penis

A British woman is on trial for tricking her best friend into having sex with her while wearing a strap-on penis. Hate it when that happens.

Gayle Newland, 25, was posing as a half-Filipino, half-Latino male named Kye Fortune on Facebook in 2011 and persuaded the alleged victim to meet in February 2013 at a Chester hotel for their first sexual rendezvous. There was just one hitch: the complainant said that Fortune, who claimed to be recovering from a brain tumor, insisted that she wear a blindfold since he was “anxious about the way he looked” with scars and muscle damage.

The woman agreed and when she entered the hotel room, Fortune was waiting in the bathroom and the bed was littered with rose petals and Hello Kitty dolls. After putting on the blindfold, Fortune came out of the bathroom “shaking” and they had sex for the first time. Afterwards, Fortune had to check back into the Manchester hospital.

Two years, and several hotel encounters later, and the couple eventually met up at the woman’s apartment, where she discovered Fortune was really her friend Gayle. The complainant told police:

When I was having sex I grabbed for the back of his head and my hand got caught on something. It did not feel right. I was sat on the bed, he was standing up. Something in my mind said ‘pull it [the blindfold] off, pull it off’. I just pulled it off. Gayle was just standing there… I just couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe it. Straight away she held her hand down over her face and said ‘it’s not what you think’.

Gayle Newland, 25, of Willaston, Cheshire, has pled not guilty to five counts of sexual assault and argues that her friend was aware she was having sex with another woman, evening telling the defendant to buy a prosthetic penis as part of a fantasy.
