Drake’s Drops ‘Hotline Bling’ Video on Apple Music

Hotline Bling Music Video

On Monday night, Drake’s ode to booty calls finally got paired with its own video when “Hotline Bling” dropped on Apple Music. The visual opens with a literal nod to the song’s theme, an office filled with phone sex operators, before shifting its focus to Drake, who proceeds to let loose against a trippy candy-colored background.

The entire Director X-guided video looks like one of those art projections you’d walk into at the MOCA. Also, it’s important to note that Drake launches into some serious Carlton-worthy dance moves (CHA CHA) that the internet is going nuts over.

The new video may be just the thing to push “Hotline Bling” to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, which is still sitting pretty at the number two spot.

“I have never had a billboard number one,” Drizzy posted on Instagram. “If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool… I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you…even if it doesn’t.”
