Watch Daniel Radcliffe Rap Blackalicious’ ‘Alphabet Aerobics’

Harry Potter, ahem, Daniel Radcliffe unexpectedly shook down The Tonight Show on Tuesday’s episode — single-handedly winning over the internet and TV viewers. The clip of the shenanigans above shows Jimmy Fallon probing Radcliffe about his not-so-known addiction for rap, including Eminem and Plan B.

Daniel Radcliffe Raps Alphabet Aerobics

“I think I was the first kid in my class to learn the words to ‘The Real Slim Shady,'” the actors says. To which Fallon responds by pulling out a microphone and egging Radcliffe to flex his rap skills to the giggling audience. The track in question? Blackalicious’ 1999 classic “Alphabet Aerobics,” one of the most lyrically ambitious tracks in history due to its complex structure. Every two line progresses into the next letter of the alphabet; each couplet packed with words containing an assigned letter.

The final verdict? Potter may wanna consider getting into the rap game if the whole Auror thing doesn’t work out. Accompanied by the instrumental wisdom of the Roots and Jimmy Fallon’s exceptional card-holding skills, Radcliffe dives face first into the onslaught of tongue-bending lines. The kid is wild good.

The rest of the episode shows Radcliffe doing the obligatory promo for his upcoming film, “Horns” — which looks like a horror mindfuck to be honest. He also tries a hand at a Texan accent, which is… debatable.
